Larry Larsen is the Director of Cyber Security at Apple Federal Credit Union, and is a former cyber security contractor for the U.S. Government, with close to 20 years of experience in areas ranging from forensics to cyber-counterintelligence. He has received numerous awards and commendations for his work in these areas, and has been selected to sit on the Board of the AppleFCU Education Foundation.
Mr. Larsen has extensive experience in Security Operations Center operations and management, as well as providing training in cyber security, counterintelligence, and insider threat detection.
He has been a consultant for Federal cyber behavioral analysis programs, providing advice on criminal and counterintelligence cases involving malicious use of computer systems by criminal and state-sponsored threat actors, and is a Certified Expert Witness in forensic computer investigation in both local and Federal courts.
