As Director of Enterprise Risk Management, Susan Ramonat supports SEI’s Board of Directors and senior management team in their oversight and management of risk across the Company’s asset management, investment processing, and fund administration businesses in North America, Europe and Asia. In this capacity, she directly oversees vendor management, counterparty risk management, outsourcing governance, operational resilience, and insurance. Early in her career, Susan was an institutional broker for EF Hutton and Merrill Lynch. She later moved to the buy side as an equity analyst. In the early nineties, Susan was an executive at a central New Jersey bank, initially heading trust business development and then managing the retail branch system. Susan joined SEI in 1996, supporting sales of asset management and back office outsourcing services to private banks. Susan assumed her current role in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Prior to that, her responsibilities included product development, sourcing due diligence and strategic financial analysis. Susan was graduated magna cum laude in 1980 from Princeton University.
